Meet the Team
Dr. Dave
Dr. Dave describes feeling compelled to help people since childhood. He was inspired by watching his father work as a parole officer, as well as growing up in a home full of foster kids. During his time at University he worked as a group home “houseparent” for youth at risk.
Those experiences led to a commitment to achieving the highest level of education that would give him the greatest ability to help people. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1986 at a program that now operates from George Fox University.
Dr. Agnor is married to Sharon Agnor, a steel and glass artist, and assists her in engineering her public sculpture. He has three children, and six grandchildren.
Dr. Chrystal
Dr. Chrystal utilizes evidence-based psycho therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, exposure, and problem-solving therapy, to help you feel better and more in-control. She specializes in treating the behavioral factors in complex medical conditions such as IBS, chronic pain, and other disease processes. As part of therapy, she may ask you to participate in experiential exercises or try new behaviors in session and at home to help you learn new skills. She may challenge you to think differently or modify behavior in order for you to feel better.
She served in the military as a psychologist for several years. She has provided clinical services to individuals in both outpatient and medical facilities across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults and senior adults from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. She is trained in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, such as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure.
She earned her Master’s degree (M.A.) in Psychology (2005) and Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology (2009) from Seattle Pacific University. She practices under the title of Washington State Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PY60590312). She completed her internship at Tripler Army Medical Center, and obtained her license to practice independently in 2010.
Dr. Ross
Dr. Ross completed his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in 1996.
Dr Ross is the Director of Operations for aNew View Behavioral Health. His responsibilities involve all administrative aspects of operating a health care company from budgeting and contracting to quality assurance. Dr. Ross has always enjoyed the challenges involved in designing and improving systems to insure that quality care is delivered.
Dr. Laura
Dr. Laura considers the whole person, across the lifespan, and what science tells us about how our physical body responds to relationships and experiences impacting our psyche. She pairs this knowledge with the best practices to treat psychological disorders and relational struggles. Her integrated approach is informed by attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology that is grounded in evidence based practices.
Dr. Laura believes that people are resilient and capable of change to improve the quality of their lives. Whether one wants to get unstuck from a pattern of behavior (e.g., overeating, drinking alcohol, or ineffective communication), or one struggles with anxiety, fear, depression, or trauma symptoms, she partners with them in identifying and treating the crux of the problem. Her preferred modalities include CBT, ACT, SFT, and MBCT.
She has more than thirty years of experience working with older adults, people with disabilities, and people living with chronic physical and mental illness. She and her husband have owned and operated adult foster care homes in Oregon since 1994. They raised their five children enjoying northwest camping, crabbing, and fishing. Her greatest pleasures are church community, nature, and her seven grandchildren.
